Our space’s door opens onto bustling High Street in the heart of Belfast, Maine. Belfast is a beautiful Midcoast Maine town located at the mouth of the Passagassawakeag River estuary on Belfast Bay and Penobscot Bay.
Lots of fun and creativity was had by all in Deb Jellison's hand painted paper collage workshop at the gallery. There will be more art learning opportunities in the future at Local Color Gallery.

We are located in the historic Masonic Building at 135 High Street. Built in 1877, it is one of the city's most elaborately decorated buildings, featuring Masonic symbols. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
